Upon arriving to my next destination, Bangkok, Thailand; I managed to come up with an answer to every nomad and TCK question. Where is home?
Home = freedom and cheap food.
I will write about how Thailand is home in just a minute.
First I must say, Scotland was the only other country that made me feel like home.
Walking around at any time of the day and always getting home safe and sound even at 4 am.
In small closes. It is fine.
In the dark, it is fine.
Also see we have sun. Beautiful sun.
My beautiful home
Even when people have no respect 😂
Whenever I walked around I felt my place was there.
That was my hiding corner every time I needed a study break.
No matter how miserably workholic my life can be I belong to the city. I had no friends, not many people to call friends either, but the city was my friend and lover. #iwasstilljealousofcouples be it old or young.
I finally got that feeling, upon landing in Thailand.
Not only I was happy to be back in an advanced world,
But the sound of my sizzling 35 bhat seafood fried rice the next morning made me happy and warm.
Bangkok, not as fancy for some, but to me it was a warm and delicious Edinburgh. No matter how much I complained about the cold in Edinburgh I liked it. Same as I complain about the heat in Thailand but I love it ❤ Especialmente I can finally show my legs and shoulders freely away from conservative Nepal.
Til later, I need to go enjoy some heat🔥
P.S.: I think what helps the home feeling is the fact I am staying with a Thai-Chinese family. They are just amazing. ❤❤
